Flying Scot AP Mainsail

The North AP mainsail for the Flying Scot has a slightly flatter lower luff area to reduce backwind in light to medium winds. The upper sections sets a bit deeper in windier conditions, than the RHC main, which adds power and can add to pointing ability in some conditions with a heavy crew. The AP main was the workhorse in the class for many years and some still prefer to use this sail as it has a proven track record of high performance and reliability.
